The dawn of a new era

I was walking to the bus this evening in Redmond and I was waiting at a traffic light. A young man on a bicycle pulled up next to me. He was singing to himself. There was just the two of us there and I said Hi and he nodded. And then he said, “It’s the dawn of a new era, man,”

And I knew then why he was singing. And I felt like singing too.

Tomorrow at noon a new era begins.
