LiveLabs is a group within Microsoft that develops Web-based apps. They’re probably best known for developing PhotoSynth, but I just came across another of their projects: SeaDragon.
SeaDragon allows you to provide “deep zoom” functionality to visuals featured on your Web site.
To test it out, I uploaded the Country Codes of the World map and in about five minutes had created this…
I’m also happy to see that SeaDragon is now available for the iPhone, which I just downloaded.
